This well-groomed, pretty park overlooks the marina. It has shade trees, rolling lawns, sheltered picnic tables, barbecues, and a snack bar. It is a good place for a walk or a jog along the South Bay Bicycle Trail. Public fishing docks have been built along the edge of the park, and there’s a dog run next to the parking lot. The park office displays historical photographs of Santa Monica, Playa del Rey, and the canals of Venice in 1905, when they were new.

Parking/Restrooms

There are blue spaces in the parking lot. Restrooms near the picnic shelter have front transfer stalls with one grab bar, but the stalls are too small to close the door with a wheelchair inside. Restrooms at the park office have twist doorknobs and front transfer stalls with two grab bars.
